Senengnya abis upgrade opensolaris to the latest… yang menyita banyak waktu karena downloadnya terlalu besar..

Bermain Dengan OpenBGPD/ Cisco? Argh….

Setelah ngoprek BGP 2 hari dengan Si Manis Jembatan Cisco, akhirnya hari ini kami memutuskan untuk berganti ke PC-Router karena memang Router Cisco yang ada pada kantor kami terlalu kecil spec-nya untuk melakukan routing.

Very simple.. hanya butuh waktu 1.5 jam untuk melakukan proses installasi OpenBSD 4.3 sampai dengan konfigurasi OpenBGPD sampai live. Dan Beginilah hasilnya:

Meow… it’s nice. Compare to CISCO gak bisa dicompare deh… Pasti ada kelebihan/kekurangan masing-masing tapi yang jelas kelihatan adalah HARGA!!!!… 4 Juta VS kalau 1841(ini dah berapa puluh jt nih) abis gitu gak mampu buat banyak hal(mungkin saya saja yg gak becus :p).

Nah border gateway sudah kelar tinggal IGP-OSPF. Rencana dari router ini juga akan running OpenOSPFD gabung dengan rekan-rekan switch cisco 3750, tinggal tunggu show time!!..
